Manual Cocking & Automatic Firing Pin Safety - Light. Safe. Comfortable.
The manual cocking of the Sauer 505 flatters every thumb. When it matters, a light thumb pressure is enough to cock the weapon immediately before the shot. Relaxing and unloading in the relaxed state is just as smooth. In addition to the manual cocking, an automatic firing pin safety inside the Sauer 505 prevents the rifle from firing as long as it is not fully locked. And to open the weapon – for example, when loading and unloading – in the relaxed state, it is sufficient to push the cocking slider forward by two millimeters while simultaneously unlocking the chamber.

Handspannung & Automatische Schlagbolzensicherung - Leicht. Sicher. Komfortabel.
Die Handspannung der Sauer 505 schmeichelt jedem Daumen. Wenn es darauf ankommt, genügt bereits ein leichter Daumendruck, um die Waffe unmittelbar vor dem Schuss zu spannen. Ebenso leichtgängig erfolgen das Entspannen sowie das Entladen im entspannten Zustand. Zusätzlich zur Handspannung wirkt im Inneren der Sauer 505 eine automatische Schlagbolzensicherung, die ein Abfeuern der Büchse verhindert, solange diese nicht vollständig verriegelt ist. Und um die Waffe – zum Beispiel beim Laden und Entladen – im entspannten Zustand zu öffnen, genügt es, den Spannschieber um zwei Millimeter nach vorne zu schieben und gleichzeitig die Kammer zu entriegeln.
