The HW 66 Production Thumbhole 20“-Rifle is a special model from AKAH, versatile for both hunting and sporting use.
The Stock
The ergonomic thumbhole stock is made of walnut and features a line-checkering pattern on the grip areas of the pistol grip and fore-end, providing a pleasant tactile feel in the hands. The stock is designed for both right- and left-handed users, and it ends with a rubber cap that reduces felt recoil.
The Action
The action has a cylinder lock with double locking, and its direct trigger releases at 1,400 g. On the side, there is a silent sliding safety, and on the top, a prism rail with pre-drilled holes for mounting a scope.
The Barrel
The heavy, conically shaped varmint barrel ensures good swing behavior. It has a length of 508 mm (20“), is without sights, and has a ½“ UNF muzzle thread. It is designed for caliber .17Hornet.

Der Schaft
Der führige Lochschaft ist aus Nussbaum gefertigt und hat eine Line-Checkering-Punzierung an den Griffflächen des Pistolengriffs und des Vorderschafts, die haptisch angenehm in den Händen liegen. Der Schaft ist für Rechts- und Linkshänder ausgelegt, er schließt mit einer Gummikappe ab, die den gefühlten Rückstoß reduziert.
Das System
Das System hat einen Zylinderverschluss mit doppelter Verriegelung, sein Direktabzug löst bei 1.400 g aus. An der Seite befindet sich eine lautlose Schiebesicherung, auf der Oberseite eine Prismenschiene mit Vorbohrungen zur Montage eines Zielfernrohrs.
Der Lauf
Der schwere, konisch geformte Varmint-Lauf sorgt für ein gutes Schwungverhalten. Er hat eine Länge von 508 mm (20“), ist ohne Visierung und hat ein ½“ UNF-Mündungsgewinde. Er ist für das Klaiber .17Hornet ausgelegt.
