The Leica Televid HD 82 Spotting Scope, with its 82 mm large front lens, is particularly light-sensitive and provides bright, high-contrast, detail-rich, and color-accurate images in all lighting conditions and against the light. The size of the Televid HD 82 does not come at the expense of its ergonomic, always comfortable handling. It is recommended to use it with the Leica Vario eyepiece 20-60x (not included). The two components are connected with a bayonet mount with integrated automatic locking, ensuring quick and secure attachment.
The image quality of the Televid HD 82 spotting scope is achieved through fluoride glasses, achromatic lenses, HDC multi-coating, High-Lux-Pro (HLP), Leica AquaDura coating, and the Schmidt prism system. The light-sensitive optics of the instrument are particularly suitable for digiscoping with a camera or smartphone when used with the appropriate Leica accessories (not included).
The rubber-armored magnesium housing is shockproof, waterproof, and slip-resistant. The operation is intuitive. The Televid features a dual focus system for quick coarse and precise fine adjustment. The close focus limit is at 3.9 m.
