This rail differs from our premium rails due to its tactical design.
Compared to the hunting-optimized version, it is more robust, but less elegantly finished and does not include an integrated sight channel – this is needed when using open sights without optics.
The design complies with the MIL-STD-1913 standard and features continuous machining in the Picatinny profile – ideal for tactical applications and maximum flexibility in mounting aiming aids.

Optimal mounting – safe & permanent
The generous contact surface ensures a firm, shot-proof mounting of your aiming optics. For maximum holding power, we recommend:
- Torque: Tighten mounting screws to 3 Nm
- Thread locking: Use, for example, our Rifledoc thread locking
- Additionally: For extreme loads – use of gun glue (epoxy resin 2K) possible
Note: We provide two sets of screws (5x 6/48 UNS and 5x 8/40 UN) as the thread types vary by model for Savage.
