Mauser 12 Max caliber .308 Win
The Mauser 12 is consistently designed for exactly what makes a true MAUSER: uncompromising use under all conditions.
Proven all-steel construction, cold-hammered barrel made of special steel, locking with six massive lugs directly in the barrel, detachable magazine with sufficient reserves, and last but not least, a safety concept that has literally fueled the worldwide fame of Mauser rifles for over 100 years.
But time does not stand still, and so the MAUSER 12 now also optionally features a sophisticated manual cocking system that combines maximum safety with proven operation in the best possible way.
All these advantages come into their own especially when the circumstances demand everything from both man and material. Then it pays off not to have to hold back on the weapon, to mobilize the last reserves, and thanks to the legendary reliability of a MAUSER, to finish what one started hours or days before.
The Mauser 12 Max is the technical flagship of the MAUSER 12 family and the most ergonomically advanced MAUSER. This means maximum performance for maximum results.
Highest stability and operational toughness combined with elaborate ergonomics. The MAUSER 12 Max masters this balancing act with flying colors.
The specially designed stock features ambidextrous palm swells, ensuring that even in extreme situations, the left-handed shooting position is perfect.
Highest stability and, above all, preferential safety in the most adverse weather conditions is guaranteed by the specially treated beech laminate stock.
