The Blaser break-action rifle K95 demonstrates that functionality, ergonomics, and robust construction do not have to come at the expense of elegance.
Many hunters prefer hunting with a single-shot break-action rifle, such as the K95 from Blaser. Beyond the traditional awareness that clings to the original way of hunting, practical reasons can also play a role: the rifle has a low weight and can be easily disassembled into its components for transport, for example during mountain hunting. This version is designed for the caliber 8x57JRS.
The Stock The stock in wood class 4 is ergonomically perfect with its slim shape and straight back. It features a Bavarian cheek piece with double fold. The grip surfaces on the fore-end and pistol grip are pleasantly tactile in the hands with their checkered texture. The excellent design ensures comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting in every shooting position. The shooting hand remains completely relaxed, which significantly increases your accuracy. The attachment to the barrel is made via a patented latch. The fore-end has an end made of ebony.
The System The action housing of the K95 is made of duralumin and is very flat thanks to the hookless break block closure. It is adorned with a gold-colored K95 inscription. The closure locks the barrel with a solid block. The recoil in this construction is not transmitted to the base of the housing but is absorbed by the spring-mounted closure block. The optimally adjusted trigger is a direct trigger and releases dry at 550 g without any noticeable travel.
The Barrel The top of the blued barrel is equipped with cutouts for the Blaser saddle mounts to easily attach a sighting optic. There are no interfaces on the break-action rifle itself. The barrel length is 52 cm, it has no sights, and a M15x1 muzzle thread.

Viele Jägerinnen und Jäger bevorzugen die Jagd mit einer einschüssigen Kipplaufbüchse, wie es die K95 von Blaser ist. Über das Traditionsbewusstsein, das an der ursprünglichen Art zu jagen festhält, hinaus können da auch praktische Gründe ein Rolle spielen: das Gewehr hat ein geringes Gewicht und kann, zum Beispiel während der Jagd im Gebirge, leicht in seine Komponenten zerlegt transportiert werden. Diese Ausführung ist für das Kaliber 8x57JRS ausgelegt.
Die Schäftung Der Schaft in der Holzklasse 4 ist mit seiner schlanken Form und seinem geraden Rücken ergonomisch perfekt. Er hat eine bayerische Backe mit Doppelfalz. Die Griffflächen an Vorderschaft und Pistolengriff liegen mit ihrer Fischhaut-Struktur haptisch angenehm in den Händen. Die ausgezeichnete Gestaltung gewährleistet bei jeder Anschlagart ein komfortables Anlegen, Visieren und Schießen. Die Schießhand bleibt vollkommen entspannt, was Ihre Treffsicherheit deutlich erhöht. Die Befestigung am Lauf erfolgt durch einen Patentschnäpper. Der Vorderschaft hat einen Abschluss aus Ebenholz.
Das System Der Systemkasten der K95 ist aus Dural-Aluminium gefertigt und dank des hakenlosen Kippblockverschlusses sehr flach. Verziert ist er mit einem mit goldfarbenem K95 Schriftzug. Der Verschluss verriegelt den Lauf mit einem massiven Block. Der Rückstoß wird bei dieser Konstruktion nicht auf den Stoßboden des Kastens übertragen, sondern von dem federnd gelagerten Verschlussblock aufgenommen. Der optimal justierte Abzug ist ein Direktabzug und löst trocken bei 550 g ohne spürbaren Weg aus.
Der Lauf Die Oberseite des brünierten Laufs ist mit Ausfräsungen für die Blaser-Sattelmontagen versehen, um ohne großen Aufwand eine Zieloptik anzubringen. An der Kipplaufbüchse selbst befinden sich keine Schnittstellen. Die Lauflänge beträgt 52 cm, er hat keine Visierung und ein M15x1 Mündungsgewinde.
