With the 1301 Competition Pro, Beretta has designed a self-loading shotgun where speed goes hand in hand with ergonomics and reliability.

The Stock
The synthetic stock features the integrated recoil dampening Kick-Off Plus developed by Beretta. It consists of 2 elastomer shock absorbers near the rubber insert. Another shock absorber contributes in the forend. This technology not only reduces felt recoil by up to 40%, but also minimizes muzzle jump. The Beretta B-Steady system divides the stock so that the recoil only affects the grip, keeping the lower part stable and preventing the stock from slipping. This way, the sight line is not lost, and quickly acquiring the next target is greatly facilitated. The rubber grip inserts on the pistol grip and forend feel pleasant in the hands.

The System
The receiver is made of aluminum. To ensure quick handling, the loading and bolt release levers, as well as the feed and ejection ports, are enlarged. The loading mechanism has also been optimized compared to previous models. Finally, the B-Link gas pressure system and the precise rotary lock guarantee a fast cycle.

Barrel and Chokes
The Steelium barrel profile has a transition cone of 80 mm. The stepped sight rail tapers from 10 mm to 8 mm at the muzzle. The luminous fiber front sight with a small metal aid sight ensures good peripheral target perception. The Black Edition Extended Chokes (OCHPe) from Beretta are used.

Mit der 1301 Competition Pro hat Beretta eine Selbstladeflinte konstruiert, bei der Schnelligkeit mit Ergonomie und Zuverlässigkeit Hand in Hand gehen.

Der Schaft
Der Synthetik-Schaft verfügt über die von Beretta entwickelte integrierte Rückstoßdämpfung Kick-Off Plus. Sie besteht aus 2 Elastomer-Stoßdämpfern in der Nähe des Gummieinsatzes. Ein weiterer Stoßdämpfer leistet im Vorderschaft seinen Beitrag. Diese Technologie reduziert nicht nur den gefühlten Rückstoß um bis zu 40%, sondern auch das Springen der Mündung. Das Beretta-B-Steady-System unterteilt den Schaft, so dass der Rückstoß sich nur auf den Griff auswirkt, der untere Teil stabil bleibt und der Schaftrücken nicht wegrutscht. Damit verliert man die Visierlinie nicht und die rasche Erfassung des folgenden Zielobjekts wird enorm erleichtert. Die Gummi-Griffeinlagen an Pistolengriff und Vorderschaft liegen haptisch angenehm in den Händen.

Das System
Das Verschlussgehäuse ist aus Aluminium gefertigt. Um eine schnelle Handhabung zu gewährleisten, sind Lade- und Verschlussfanghebel sowie die Zuführungs- und Auswurföffnungen vergrößert. Auch der Lademechanismus wurde gegenüber den Vorgängermodellen optimiert. Das B-Link-Gasdrucksystem und der präzise Drehverschluss schließlich garantieren einen schnellen Zyklus.

Lauf und Chokes
Das Steelium-Laufprofil hat einen Übergangskonus von 80 mm. Die abgestufte Visierschiene verjüngt sich zur Mündung von 10 mm auf 8 mm. Das Leuchtfiberkorn mit kleinem Metall-Hilfskorn sorgt für eine gute periphere Zielwahrnehmung. Zu Verwendung kommen die Black Edition Extended Chokes (OCHPe) von Beretta.
