The success of the B-14 HMR led to the development of the Bergara HMR PRO rifle (hunting and match rifle). This PREMIER version comes with a 416 stainless steel barrel and a tactical gray Cerakote finish. It also adds the PREMIER Bergara action and the adjustable TriggerTech™ trigger with Smooth Release Technology®.
All rifles in the Premier series are guaranteed to produce groups of 1.0 MOA or less at 100 meters with high-quality ammunition.
Bergara Premier Action
The Premier action is designed as a two-lug system that features a separate floating screw head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also has a conical bolt nose for smooth cartridge feeding and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor at the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is made of stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accommodate the threaded bolt handle. The screw head, non-rotating gas shield, bolt handle, and screw cover are fully nitrided for extreme durability as well as their self-lubricating properties.
Premier Trigger
The two-position safety is part of the trigger assembly, which in the Approach rifle features TriggerTech® Frictionless Release Technology™. A great feature of this combination is that the bolt handle does not lock in the closed position, allowing the rifle to be unloaded in the safe position.

Alle Gewehre der Premier-Serie produzieren garantiert Gruppen von 1,0 MOA oder weniger auf 100 Metern mit hochwertiger Munition.
Bergara Premier Aktion
Die Premier-Aktion ist als System mit zwei Ösen konzipiert, das über einen separaten schwimmenden Schraubenkopf verfügt, um den Kontakt mit den Stollenabutments in der Aktion sicherzustellen. Es verfügt außerdem über eine kegelförmige Bolzennase für eine reibungslose Zufuhr der Patrone und einen federbelasteten Gleitplattenabzieher an der Vorderseite der unteren Verriegelungsnase. Der einteilige Riegelkörper besteht aus Edelstahl mit einem Polster an der Rückseite, um den eingeschraubten Riegelgriff aufzunehmen. Der Schraubenkopf, der nicht rotierende Gasschutz, der Schraubengriff und die Schraubenabdeckung sind für extreme Haltbarkeit sowie ihre selbstschmierenden Eigenschaften vollständig nitriert.
Premier Trigger
Die Zwei-Positionen-Sicherheit ist Teil der Abzugsbaugruppe, die im Approach-Gewehr eine TriggerTech® Frictionless Release Technology ™ ist. Ein großartiges Merkmal dieser Kombination ist, dass der Riegelgriff nicht in der geschlossenen Position einrastet, wodurch das Gewehr in der sicheren Position entladen werden kann.
