"Silence," on the other hand, indicates that the barrel of the rifle is equipped with an integral suppressor, which has been taken into account in the design of the fore-end and system.
The Stock
The thumbhole stock of the R8 Success Silence is made from the fine wood of stock class 7. Its optimal design with thumbhole and pistol grip ensures comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting in every shooting position. The shooting hand and arm remain completely relaxed. The checkered texture on the grip surfaces feels pleasant in the hands. The rubber butt plate noticeably reduces recoil and prevents the rifle from slipping when set down. The fore-end is designed for a barrel with an integral suppressor, and its end is made of black ebony.
The System
The quickly reloadable straight-pull repeating system of the R8 Success Silence is made of Dural, and the system housing in a matte black finish is adorned with a gold-colored R8 inscription. The manual cocking system guarantees maximum safety by releasing the firing pin spring. The cocking occurs only immediately before the shot. The dry-standing direct trigger has a trigger weight of 750 g.
Scope of Delivery

Der Schaft
Der Lochschaft der R8 Success Silence ist aus dem edlen Holz der Schaftholzklasse 7 gefertigt. Seine optimale Gestaltung mit Daumenloch und Pistolengriff gewährleistet bei jeder Anschlagart ein komfortables Anlegen, Visieren und Schießen. Schießhand und -arm bleiben vollkommen entspannt. Die Fischhautstruktur an den Griffflächen liegt haptisch angenehm in den Händen. Die Schaftkappe aus Gummi mindert den Rückstoß spürbar und verhindert ein Wegrutschen des abgestellten Gewehrs. Der Vorderschaft ist für einen Lauf mit Integralschalldämpfer ausgelegt, sein Abschluss ist aus schwarzem Ebenholz.
Das System
Das schnell nachladbare Geradezug-Repetiersystem der R8 Success Silence ist aus Dural gefertigt, der Systemkasten in mattschwarzem Finish ist mit einem goldfarbenen R8 Schriftzug versehen. Das Handspannsystem garantiert höchste Sicherheit mittels Entspannung der Schlagfeder. Die Spannung erfolgt erst unmittelbar vor dem Schuss. Der trockenstehende Direktabzug hat ein Abzugsgewicht von 750 g.
