The System
The system of the Haenel Jaeger 10 Lady Timber is made of high-quality steel. The ilaflon coating of the surfaces effectively protects against corrosion. The bolt features six strong lugs on the chamber head and locks uncompromisingly, gliding perfectly in the system sleeve without any "catching." The small opening angle of only 60 degrees allows for quick cycling and a very flat scope mounting. The contour of the system corresponds to the Remington 700 sleeve, and holes are already provided so that all commercially available mounts can be used. The removable magazine is made of steel sheet. The 3+1 magazine for standard calibers and 2+1 for magnum calibers provides sufficient firepower.
Trigger and Safety
A combination trigger with a set trigger offers all options. For long shots, it can be set, and the low trigger weight allows for precise shots. However, even without setting, using it as a direct trigger is easily possible. By opening the chamber, it is automatically uncocked. The side sliding safety is ergonomically perfect, located right next to the trigger guard, and can be operated silently. It has two positions and affects the trigger. The Haenel Jaeger 10 Lady Timber also features a separate chamber lock, ensuring safe unloading of the weapon, even in a cocked state.
The Stock
The noble walnut stock of wood class 4 with a Monte Carlo cheek piece and rubber butt pad is extremely robust. It withstands the harshest conditions and is made for rough hunting use. The classic stock shape with a straight stock back effectively absorbs the recoil of the repeater. The palm swell is shaped for right-handed shooters. The checkering on the pistol grip and fore-end provides very good grip even in wet conditions.
Barrel with removable I-Sight sighting
The barrel with a length of 56 cm is cold-hammered and is excellently precise. The ilaflon coating of the surface effectively protects against corrosion. A muzzle thread M 15x1 and a removable I-Sight sighting are included as standard. The fine driven hunt sight with illuminated front sight is fixed with a single screw. It can be easily removed or shifted axially to the rear, allowing for the use of any type of suppressor (over-barrel or on-barrel).

Das System
Das System der Haenel Jaeger 10 Lady Timber ist aus hochwertigem Stahl gefertigt. Die Ilaflonierung der Oberflächen schütz wirksam vor Korrosion. Der Verschluss verfügt über sechs starke Warzen am Kammerkopf und verriegelt kompromisslos, dabei gleitet er ohne „Hakeln“ perfekt in der Systemhülse. Der geringe Öffnungswinkel von lediglich 60 Grad ermöglicht ein schnelles Repetieren und eine sehr flache Zielfernrohrmontage. Die Kontur des Systems entspricht der Hülse der Remington 700 und Bohrungen sind bereits angebracht, so dass alle handelsüblichen Montagen verwendet werden können. Das herausnehmbare Einsteckmagazin ist aus Stahlblech gefertigt. Das 3+1 Magazin für Standard-Kaliber und 2+1 für Magnum-Kaliber liefert ausreichend Feuerkraft.
Abzug und Sicherung
Ein Kombiabzug mit Rückstecher bietet alle Optionen. Bei weiten Schüssen kann eingestochen werden und das geringe Abzugsgewicht ermöglicht präzise Schüsse. Aber auch ohne Einstechen ist die Nutzung als Direktabzug problemlos möglich. Durch ein Öffnen der Kammer wird automatisch entstochen. Die seitliche Schiebesicherung ist ergonomisch perfekt, rechts neben dem Schlösschen angeordnet und lautlos zu bedienen. Sie besitzt zwei Stellungen und wirkt auf den Abzug. Die Haenel Jaeger 10 Lady Timber verfügt außerdem über eine separate Kammersperre, so dass ein sicheres Entladen der Waffe, selbst in gespanntem Zustand, gewährleistet ist.
Der Schaft
Der edle Nussbaumschaft der Holzklasse 4 mit Monte Carlo Backe und Gummischaftkappe ist äußerst robust. Er trotz widrigsten Bedingungen und ist wie gemacht für den rauen jagdlichen Einsatz. Die klassische Schaftform mit geradem Schaftrücken nimmt den Rückstoß des Repetierers wirksam auf. Der Handballen ist für Rechtsschützen ausgeformt. Die Fischhaut an Pistolengriff und Vorderschaft bietet auch bei Nässe sehr guten Halt.
Lauf mit abnehmbarer I-Sight-Visierung
Der Lauf mit 56 cm Lauflänge wird kalt gehämmert und ist hervorragend präzise. Die Ilaflonierung der Oberfläche schützt wirksam vor Korrosion. Serienmäßig ist ein Mündungsgewinde M 15x1 und eine abnehmbare I-Sight-Visierung im Lieferumfang enthalten. Die feine Drückjagd-Visierung mit Leuchtkorn ist mittels einer einzigen Schraube fixiert. Sie kann problemlos demontiert werden oder axial nach hinten versetzt werden, so dass jede Art von Schalldämpfer (Over-Barrel oder On-Barrel) eingesetzt werden kann.
