Natürlich ist eine Verwendung der Dummy´s als Pufferpatronen möglich, die Standzeit der Dummy´s wird durch die Schlagbolzeneinwirkung auf den Rand schneller beeinträchtigt als bei Pufferpatronen mit Feder- oder Kunststoffschlagstücken. Dummypatronen zur Schlagbolzen-Schonung: Der Massive Rand (Patrone im Ganzen aus solidem Aluminium gefertigt) fängt den Schlagbolzenaufprall ab.
