Sonder edition for the 40th anniversary of the P80 Glock Safe Action® system Polymer frame The P80 pistol from Glock is being released as a special edition in its original version, designed for the Austrian Army, to celebrate its 40th anniversary. With the P80, Gaston Glock developed a novel pistol in the early 1980s that distinguished itself from other pistol manufacturers thanks to its polymer frame and Safe Action® system, and eventually came into use with the Austrian Army. Under the designation Glock 17, it was also used as a service weapon and in the field of sport shooting. The P80 is a semi-automatic pistol in 9 mm Luger caliber with a full-size frame. The pistol is delivered with two 17-round magazines and a magazine loading aid.
