The Petromax reflector shade HK350/HK500 concentrates the light of the Petromax lamp and reflects it downwards. This results in several advantages: When the lamp is mounted in an elevated position, e.g. with the lamp holder, no light is lost upwards. This allows the lamp to illuminate a larger area very effectively. When viewed from above, the Petromax appears to have the reflector shade as a glare protection. Der Petromax Reflektorschirm HK350/HK500 bündelt das Licht der Petromax-Lampe und reflektiert es nach unten. Dadurch ergeben sich gleich mehrere Vorteile: Wird die Lampe in erhöhter Position angebracht, z. B. mit der Lampenhalterung, geht kein Licht nach oben verloren. So leuchtet die Lampe einen größeren Bereich höchst wirkungsvoll aus. Blickt man von oben auf die Petromax, wirkt der Reflektorschirm als Blendschutz.
