Reflector shade for HK500 The reflector concentrates the light of the Petromax lamp and reflects it downwards. This results in several advantages: If the lamp is mounted in an elevated position, e.g. with the lamp holder, no light is lost upwards. This allows the lamp to illuminate a larger area very effectively. When viewed from above, the Petromax appears to have the reflector shade as a glare shield. However, the top reflector is not only an extremely practical addition. It also gives the world-famous high-intensity lamp its characteristic appearance. (Show description in original language)

Reflektorschirm für HK500 Der Reflektor bündelt das Licht der Petromax-Lampe und reflektiert es nach unten. Dadurch ergeben sich gleich mehrere Vorteile: Wird die Lampe in erhöhter Position angebracht, z. B. mit der Lampenhalterung, geht kein Licht nach oben verloren.
