Lot de 8 belles planches d’assez grand format ( env 36 x28cm) sur le thème des régiment français expédiés au Canada entre 1755 et 1760
Ces planches ont la particularité d’avoir été imprimées aux USA et mise en couleur à la main (aquarellées) en France. Pour quelle raison ? je l’ignore…
En tous cas elles ont été peintes par un professionnel de grand talent car elles sont réellement belles et très bien mises en couleur.
Sont notamment représentés dans des mises en scène très vivantes quelques un des plus prestigieux régiments de l’Ancien Régime engagés dans ce conflit: Sarre Infanterie – Berry Infanterie – les « Cannoniers-Bombardiers » – Béarn Infanterie – Languedoc Infanterie – La Reine Infanterie – Languedoc Infanterie -Roussillon Infanterie et Guyenne Infanterie. souvent avec leurs drapeaux, magnifiques étendards de l’a Monarchie quasiment tous disparus aujourd’hui.
Elles sont en TBE avec parfois quelques petites tâches de manipulation ou de crayon facilement rattrapables avec une gomme qui va bien. Réellement très décoratives avec des couleurs bien vives. Idéal décoration murale.
