The rifle was, according to tradition, intended for export to Denmark, with a production of 200 pieces.
The rifle features a safety, which is also not standard. However, this is quite common with the Modell 300.
The special feature here is the Bakelite safety and not a modern plastic safety as we know it from later years.
Thus, this rifle would be rarer than the models MLG 550, Senior or Junior 33, or the IV/M.
I would rank its rarity on the same level as, for example, the Modell III-53. The III-53 sold in two observed auctions for around 4.5k to the new owner.
So if you collect exotica that are missing in most collections, this is exactly the right place.
The rifle is in a very nice collector’s condition, works perfectly and the Bakelite safety also functions with excellent pressure, as does the accuracy.
Of course, the rifle also has some signs of use and slight patina from the past years, and in the two red circles there are scratches. The front one is relatively light, the rear one is clearly noticeable with the fingernail. Last photo!

Das Gewehr war, wenn man den Überlieferungen glauben darf, für den Export nach Dänemark bestimmt, mit einer Auflage von 200 Stück.
Das Gewehr verfügt über eine Sicherung, auch das ist kein Standard. Bei dem Modell 300 kommt es aber durchaus häufiger vor.
Die Besonderheit hier ist die Bakelit-Sicherung und keine moderne Kunststoff Sicherung wie wir sie aus den nachfolgenden Jahrgängen kennen.
Somit wäre dieses Gewehr seltener als die Modelle MLG 550, Senior oder Junior 33, oder das IV/M.
Ich würde es von der Seltenheit auf die gleiche Treppenstufe stellen wie z.B das Modell III-53. Das III-53 ging in zwei beobachtete Auktionen für um die 4,5k zum neuen Besitzer.
Wer also Exoten sammelt, die in den meisten Sammlungen fehlen, ist hier genau richtig.
Das Gewehr ist in einem sehr schönen Sammlerzustand, funktioniert einwandfrei und auch die Bakelit Sicherung funktioniert und der Druck ist hervorragend, ebenso die Treffgenauigkeit.
Natürlich hat das Gewehr auch hier und da seine Gebrauchsspuren und leichte Patina der vergangenen Jahre, und in den beiden roten Kreisen sind Kratzer. Der vordere ist relativ leicht, der hintere ist mit dem Fingernagel schon deutlich spürbar. Letztes Foto!
