GECO ZERO is the name of the latest product developed by GECO. It features extremely high precision and an extraordinary instant action – all without lead! This highly innovative jacketed cartridge is equipped with two tin cores. Supported by the hollow-point structure, the front pre-fragmented core immediately deforms upon contact with the body and releases a large part of the energy that takes down the animal on the spot. The rear core forms a stable body with the jacket and provides deep effect and exit safety. This makes GECO ZERO an exceptional choice, the most suitable for light to medium game.
The 7 x 65 R caliber was introduced in 1920 as a rimmed counterpart to the famous 7 x 64 cartridge. This caliber is predestined for both combination hunting guns and single-shot break-action rifles and ideally covers the entire range of use from roe deer to red deer.
Both with the 10.7 g GECO Teilmantel bullet and the 11.0 g GECO PLUS bullet, very good ballistic flight qualities are achieved. For all those who prefer lead-free cartridges or where classic hunting cartridges are prohibited by law, we offer GECO ZERO with a weight of 8.2 g.
