The GECO Zero is a lead-free hunting cartridge. The partially disintegrating projectile consists of two encased tin cores, designed as hollow point projectiles. The front tin core is fragmented, meaning it has predetermined breaking points to release a large part of the energy immediately and to immobilize the shot game on the spot. The rear tin core, on the other hand, ensures deep impact, penetration, and the desired exit wound.
Combined with the right barrels, the ammunition can shoot hole in hole.
GECO recommends the cartridge for relatively light and medium game, as it is comparatively light - the consequence is high speed and a flat trajectory.
Available in all common rifle calibers.
