REDDING Reloading Press · Seven Stations
T‑7 Turret Reloading Press
The T‑7 combines the controlled operation of a manual press with a massive seven-station turret head. Set dies remain installed while you switch work steps via the turret – ideal for precision-oriented small and medium series.
Fits if …
you want to keep several 7/8‑14 dies permanently set,
you want more workflow than a single-stage press but want to consciously control every step,
you prioritize a robust cast iron construction and interchangeable turret heads.
Rather not if …
you expect fully progressive ejection per lever stroke,
you need a lightweight, mobile press,
automatic powder and primer feeding must be included in the base unit.
Black‑Raptor Assessment
The T‑7 is not a compromise between single-stage and progressive presses but a standalone concept: seven fixed stations, manual case change, and conscious control. Its purchase potential lies in saved die resetting. For load development, multiple steps, and manageable series, it’s strong; for pure mass throughput, a progressive press remains faster.
Avoid a bad purchase
The turret accepts standard 7/8‑14 dies; special Z-Series turrets and other turret heads are separate accessories.
Automatic slide-bar primer feeding is not included.
Case holders, dies, and consumables are not part of the confirmed delivery.
The press requires a stable, sufficiently sized workbench and secure mounting.
Seven stations do not mean seven automatic operations per lever stroke.
Purchase-Decision Technology
Seven-station turret head
Cast iron frame with compound lever ratio
Ram with 1 inch diameter
Press opening 4‑3/4 inch
System for spent primers through the ram
Interchangeable turret heads
Scope of Delivery
REDDING T‑7 Turret Press with seven-station turret head, operating lever with ball handle, and system for spent primer ejection. Additional turret heads, dies, case holders, and automatic primer feeding are sold separately.
User and Trainer Tip
Plan the stations before assembly: depriming/calibrating, expanding, powder check, bullet seating, and crimping should be logically arranged. Set each die with a reference h
insert case, document the setting and check overall length, seating depth and crimp again after a turret change. The turret solution saves setup time – it does not replace measurement and process control.
T‑7 or single-stage press?
T‑7: several permanently set dies, less changeover, good control. Single-stage press: cheaper, more compact and often sufficient for rare single tasks. Those who regularly load multiple calibers or complex sequences make better use of the seven stations.
Limits
The press alone does not define permissible cartridges or loads. Dies, case holders and reliable load data must match the respective cartridge. A shipping weight of 12.814 kg is documented, but no confirmed net weight and is therefore not output as product weight.
Frequently asked questions
Is the T‑7 a progressive press? No. It is a manual turret press: The turret holds several dies, but the case is guided through the individual steps in a controlled manner.
How many dies fit in the turret? The supplied standard turret offers seven stations for 7/8‑14 dies.
Are dies and case holders included? No. These components must be selected separately to match the cartridge.
Is an automatic primer feed included? No. The Slide‑Bar Auto‑Primer System is optional accessory and a standalone product.
Can I use longer competition dies? Brownells confirms acceptance of standard 7/8‑14 dies including longer competition versions; the specific die must be checked in advance.
Can the turret head be changed? Yes. Additional interchangeable turret heads are offered separately and are suitable for preconfigured caliber setups.
Who is the T‑7 especially worthwhile for? Reloaders who produce precise small and medium series, keep several dies set up and still want to control every step manually.

REDDING Ladepresse · sieben Stationen Kaufcheck öffnen
T‑7 Turret-Ladepresse
T‑7: mehrere dauerhaft eingerichtete Matrizen, weniger Umrüsten, gute Kontrolle.
