Wer bereits einen kompatiblen Handschutz hat, benötigt keine zusätzliche Picatinny-Schiene, bevor der Griff montiert werden kann. Das bedeutet nicht, dass Picatinny grundsätzlich schlechter wäre – nur, dass eine direkte Schnittstelle oft die sauberere Lösung ist, wenn kein vorhandenes 1913-Zubehör berücksichtigt werden muss.
