MDT · Buttstock Adapter & Spare Parts
Fixed, Carbine, XTN or Spare Part: Direction Matters In this product family, the first term refers to the chassis side and the second to the stock side. “Fixed to Carbine” is therefore not the same as “Carbine to Fixed.”
Before buying: clearly determine existing chassis interface, desired stock side, and 1-way/2-way function.
Our honest assessment
The family makes sense if an already defined MDT buttstock is to be converted, made foldable, or repaired. It is deliberately not a “MDT fits MDT” universal set: Fixed, Carbine, and XTN are different counterparts; SRS-XF adjustment wheel and spare kit are purely spare/operating parts.
Fits well if … … you can clearly name chassis side and stock side.
… you know whether the folded stock should also be locked.
Less suitable if … … only “MDT-compatible” is known.
… XTN, Fixed, and Carbine are treated as interchangeable interfaces.
Variants with practical impact
Fixed ↔ Fixed / Carbine Naming always follows chassis → stock. The order must not be read backwards.
1-way vs. 2-way Both lock in firing position. 2-way additionally holds the folded position.
XTN to Carbine Translates XTN to Carbine buffer tube. This is not a folding adapter.
SRS-XF / Spare Kit Adjustment wheel and threaded pin/knurled knob kit are spare parts, not stock adapters.
Limits & Avoiding Wrong Purchases
The universal Fixed/Carbine folding adapters are in the existing M
DT data not released for TAC21, ESS or ACC. ESS/ACC use their own solutions. The XTN-to-Carbine part must be considered separately. Also, the folding adapters extend the stock length by about 1.75″ and do not have an open bolt passage.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Folding adapter CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium, hard anodized; 1-way or 2-way depending on the variant.
Length effect About +1.75″ with the universal folding adapters – relevant for LOP and overall geometry.
XTN to Carbine Separate interface adapter, approx. 30.65 mm total length; no folding function.
Replacement kit Five knurled knobs and five threaded pins; not generally for Field Stock or ORYX.
Scope of delivery
Only the selected variant is delivered: folding adapter in the chosen direction/function, XTN-to-Carbine adapter, SRS-XF adjustment wheel or replacement kit. Chassis, stock, buffer tube and parts not explicitly mentioned are not included in this selection.
Safe use
Assembly and function check only on an unloaded system. After conversion, check stock lock, free bolt/disassembly path and firm fit. Do not decide based on product image if generation or interface is unclear.
FAQ
What does “Fixed to Carbine” mean? Chassis side fixed, stock side carbine. The order is technically relevant. What is the difference between 1-way and 2-way? 2-way also locks in the folded position. Is XTN to Carbine a folding adapter? No. It is a pure interface adapter. Do the universal folding adapters fit ESS or ACC? According to existing MDT data, no; these platforms require their designated solution.
Black Raptor · Read interfaces logically
With this product, a wrong purchase is almost always a directional error. Those who check chassis → adapter → stock as a chain quickly find the right variant and avoid costly returns.

MDT · Buttstock Adapter & Ersatzteile
Fixed ↔ Fixed / Carbine Die Benennung folgt immer Chassis → Schaft. Die Reihenfolge darf nicht umgedreht gelesen werden.
1-Weg vs. 2-Weg Beide verriegeln in Schussposition. 2-Weg hält zusätzlich die gefaltete Stellung fest.
XTN to Carbine Übersetzt XTN auf Carbine-Pufferrohr. Das ist kein Klappadapter.
SRS-XF / Ersatzkit Verstellrad und Gewindestift-/Rändelknopf-Kit sind Ersatzteile, keine Schaftadapter.
Grenzen & Fehlkauf vermeiden
XTN to Carbine Separater Schnittstellenadapter, ca. 30,65 mm Gesamtlänge; keine Faltfunktion.
FAQ
Was bedeutet „Fixed to Carbine“? Chassisseite Fixed, Schaftseite Carbine. Die Reihenfolge ist technisch relevant. Was unterscheidet 1-Weg und 2-Weg? 2-Weg verriegelt zusätzlich im gefalteten Zustand. Ist XTN to Carbine ein Klappadapter? Nein.
