Massive +0 Base Pad for Glock Large Frame Magazines: This product bundles two selectable UTG-PRO variants for Glock OEM double-stack magazines in .45 ACP and 10 mm Auto: PUBGL02 in matte black and PUBGL02B in matte blue. Both are made from 6061-T6 aluminum, do not increase capacity, and create a grippier, heavier base for controlled magazine changes.
Which variant is delivered?
PUBGL02: matte black anodized aluminum
PUBGL02B: matte blue anodized aluminum
Selection is made via the product variant. Both colors are not delivered together. Black remains visually discreet; blue is suitable for quick identification of a defined magazine group.
Practical use of the +0 Base Pads
Leapers specifies an additional height of 0.283 inches (approx. 7.2 mm) and a weight of 1 oz (approx. 28.4 g). The larger gripping edge makes it easier to grasp the magazine, while the extra weight can support a swift magazine change. This is especially interesting for training, competition, and magazines in tight-fitting pouches.
+0 means no capacity increase: spring and cartridge space are not extended. The benefit lies in handling, balance, protection of the magazine base, and – in blue – clear visual assignment.
Compatibility: only Glock Large Frame OEM magazines
Specified by the manufacturer for Glock OEM magazines of models 20, 20SF, 21, 29, 30, 40, and 41 in .45 ACP or 10 mm Auto.
Not for Glock Small Frame: 9 mm and .40 S&W double-stack magazines use a different base pad family.
Not universal for all Glock magazines: Slimline, single-stack, and unlisted models are not approved.
No blanket approval for aftermarket magazines: The manufacturer’s specification explicitly refers to Glock OEM magazines.
Check magwell: Leapers advertises the geometry for reloads with or without magwell; internal contours vary. Always test clearance on the specific setup.

Buy if you use a explicitly compatible Glock Large Frame OEM magazine and want a more robust, better-grippable base without capacity increase. Blue is ideal for visible magazine organization; black for a neutral setup.
Do not buy if you want to equip Glock magazines in 9 mm/.40 S&W, a Slimline model, an untested aftermarket magazine, or a true magazine extension.
Installation and Function Check
Unload the firearm completely, remove the magazine, and clear ammunition from the work area.
Carefully loosen the OEM magazine base pad while securing the spring under tension.
Slide the chosen UTG PRO base pad onto the guide and check for full locking.
Insert and eject the empty magazine several times. Check locking, free fall, and magwell clearance.
Then load the magazine with the intended number of cartridges and test feeding and bolt function according to regulations.
Do not continue use if there is play, incomplete locking, or contact with the frame/magwell. Do not force fit.

Welc
Does Leapers explicitly name the Glock models? Glock 20, 20SF, 21, 29, 30, 40, and 41 – each with the matching Glock OEM magazine.
Does the Base Pad increase capacity? No. +0 means no additional cartridge capacity is created.
Are black and blue delivered together? No. You receive one Base Pad in the selected variant: PUBGL02 black or PUBGL02B blue.
Is it suitable for IDPA and USPSA? Leapers lists these Base Pads as IDPA and USPSA compliant. The current rulebook, division, and overall configuration remain decisive.
Black-Raptor conclusion: The right choice for Glock Large Frame shooters who want to make the OEM magazines of the approved .45 ACP/10mm models grippier and more robust. Choose consciously between neutral matte black and highly visible matte blue – and do not confuse this +0 Base Pad with a magazine extension.

PUBGL02: matt schwarz eloxiertes Aluminium
PUBGL02B: matt blau eloxiertes Aluminium
