The UTG polymer handguard in Tan/FDE is a classic two-piece Carbine-Length handguard with double heat shield for compatible AR15-/M4-systems. It targets users looking for a slim, traditional handguard solution and who do not expect a freefloat, M-LOK, or Picatinny platform.
Compatibility is more than just “AR15”: Carbine-Length, front handguard cap, delta ring mount, and two-piece geometry must fit the specific system. Mid-Length, Rifle-Length, and Freefloat are other designs.
Key Features
two-piece polymer handguard
Carbine-Length / M4 context
Tan/FDE finish
Double heat shield

Weight approx. 252 g according to available info
no integrated M-LOK or Picatinny interface
Our Assessment
The handguard is a functional classic solution for matching carbine systems. The double heat shield reduces direct heat transfer compared to very simple polymer handguards but does not replace careful handling with a heavily heated system.
Buy / don’t buy
Buy if: your setup explicitly uses a two-piece Carbine-Length handguard and FDE as well as double heat shield are desired.
Don’t buy if: Mid-/Rifle-Length, Freefloat, M-LOK, or a different cap geometry is present.
Practical Tip: Before ordering, compare old handguard, system length, front cap, and delta ring mount. Platform name and color alone are not enough.
Classification: More classic and simpler than a freefloat handguard, but without modern modular interfaces. The focus is on replacement and heat protection, not accessory mounting.
FAQ
Is the handguard M-LOK compatible? No. An M-LOK interface is not specified.
Does it fit Mid-Length? No, the product is classified as Carbine-Length.
Black-Raptor short summary: A classic FDE Carbine handguard with double heat shield – useful as a matching replacement, not as a modern universal freefloat system. (Show description in original language)
