Tasmanian Tiger Plate Carrier Pouch VL
A carrier only works if plates, pouches, and access fit together cleanly.
The Plate Carrier Pouch VL is a plate carrier as a base for protective plates and modularly attached gear.
A plate carrier is always a system. Plate height, cummerbund, shoulder pull, and pouch position must work together.
Why exactly this product?
✔ Base for plates and pouches ✔ Gear can be prioritized by access ✔ Carry height and load distribution become plannable
Key features
Modular Plate Carrier Pouch
CORDURA® 500 den
Tegris® reinforcement (12 layers)
Direct mounting on the plate carrier possible
Alternatively usable as a waist pouch
Elastic tourniquet holder
Velcro area on the front for patches
Rear loops for chem lights or flashlights
Our assessment (practical added value)
The Plate Carrier Pouch VL is a platform, not a finished setup. It’s crucial that plates, carry height, shoulder/side adjustment, and pouch arrangement fit together.
Its strength lies in modular gear around protective plates. The limit: Without matching plates and clean adjustment, even a good carrier becomes uncomfortable or blocks movement.
Trainer tip:
First set plate height and shoulder/side tension. Only then mount pouches, otherwise you mask fit problems with gear.
Product limit: Not useful if you don’t have matching plates, a clear gear role, or a setup routine.
Application areas
Plate carrier setup: Center plates correctly and place pouches only afterward.
Training: Test magazine, medic, and radio positions with real movement.
Vehicle / tight spaces: Don’t overload the front, or sitting and aiming get blocked.

FAQ
Are protective plates included?
Only if explicitly stated in the scope of delivery. Usually, it is the carrier without plates.
What is important before attaching pouches?
First adjust plate fit, shoulder straps, and cummerbund. Then mount the equipment.
Who is a plate carrier suitable for?
For users who consciously build and train with a protective/carry system.
What is the limit?
Without suitable plates and training, the carrier quickly becomes uncomfortable and restricts movement.
How do I test the setup?
With full equipment: check sitting, kneeling, shooting position, vehicle position, and access.
Especially with Tasmanian Tiger products, it’s not just the product name that matters, but the clear classification: Is it main equipment, an add-on module, an access pouch, medic organization, or a transport solution? When this role is clear, equipment becomes a functional setup. (Show description in original language)
