Neben den hochwertigen optischen Komponenten wurde ebenso ein leichtes Magnesium-Gehäuse, und Diopter und Augenmuscheln aus Metall verwendet. Ziel war es ein leichtes und handliches Fernglas zu konstruieren, welches auch durch seine optischen Eigenschaften überzeugt. Mit dem neuen Lux-HR 10x25 "Pocket" ED wurde dieses Ziel deutlich erreicht. Das Lux-HR "Pocket" ED ist so kompakt, dass es in jede noch so kleine Jackentasche passt. Trotz des robusten Magnesiumgehäuses konnte ein Gewicht von unter 300 g realisiert werden. Die Optik der neuen Kompaktklasse besticht durch für ein helles und klares Bild, welches auch bei schwachem Umgebungslicht noch überzeugt.
