It operates with improved algorithms for image processing. The new Pulsar Axion 2 XQ thermal imaging devices feature a new, highly sensitive Lynred sensor with a resolution of 384x288 pixels and a pixel size of 17 µm, which enables detailed imaging performance with incredible detail. The Lynred sensor also has an incredible sensitivity of 40 mk, allowing even the smallest temperature differences to be clearly displayed. The high-contrast AMOLED display with 640x480 VGA resolution offers improved color reproduction, is energy-efficient and responsive, and delivers sharp and smooth images even in frost. The Axion 2 XQ35 has an optical zoom of 2x. Thanks to the digital zoom (4x), the magnification can reach 8x, bringing objects especially close to the user. The up to 4x digital zoom ensures improved sharpness and better recognition of an object at long distances. The zoom can be adjusted either in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimal field of view tailored to the respective situation. The maximum observation distance is 1300m.
