Spartan Heavy Duty Optics Adapter for Spotting Scopes & Cameras – MagnaSwitch™ / Disc-Lok™
The Spartan Heavy Duty Optics Adapter enables quick and stable mounting of spotting scopes, cameras, and other compatible optical devices on Spartan tripods and Davros Heads. The robust heavy-duty design is especially suitable for larger or heavier optics, combining high stability with a low weight of only 65 g. The mounting on the optical device is done via a standardized 1/4"-20-UNC thread. For devices with a larger 3/8"-16-UNC connection, a suitable steel threaded bushing is included. A small set screw on the underside prevents unwanted twisting of the adapter on the device after mounting.
A special feature of the Heavy Duty Optics Adapter is the removable carbon control and fine adjustment arm. It facilitates controlled panning and tilting of the mounted optic when scanning terrain or tracking moving observation targets. The arm can be mounted in two different positions on the adapter and thus adapted to the preferred operation.
The connection to the Spartan tripod system is made via the integrated Spartan interface. The adapter is compatible with both MagnaSwitch™ and Disc-Lok™. When used with MagnaSwitch™, the magnet guides the adapter into the mount, then the connection is locked via the locking lever. Its resistance can be individually adjusted.
The adapter is made from CNC-machined 7075-T7351 aluminum with a hard-anodized black surface. This keeps the construction compact and light despite its stable heavy-duty design. Spartan names Hoplite, Sentinel, Ascent, and Hercules Tripods as well as Davros Heads as compatible platforms.
Compatibility note:
The optical or camera device to be mounted requires a 1/4"-20-UNC or 3/8"-16-UNC internal thread. For 3/8"-16-UNC connections, a corresponding steel threaded bushing is already included.

Der Spartan Heavy Duty Optics Adapter ermöglicht die schnelle und stabile Befestigung von Spektiven, Kameras und weiteren kompatiblen Optikgeräten an Spartan Stativen und Davros Heads. Die robuste Heavy-Duty-Ausführung eignet sich besonders für größere beziehungsweise schwerere Optiken und verbindet hohe Stabilität mit einem geringen Eigengewicht von nur 65 g.Die Montage am Optikgerät erfolgt über ein standardisiertes 1/4"-20-UNC-Gewinde. Für Geräte mit größerem 3/8"-16-UNC-Anschluss gehört eine passende Stahl-Gewindebuchse zum Lieferumfang. Eine kleine Madenschraube an der Unterseite verhindert nach der Montage ein unerwünschtes Verdrehen des Adapters am Gerät.Eine Besonderheit des Heavy Duty Optics Adapters ist der abnehmbare Bedien- und Feinjustierarm aus Carbon. Er erleichtert das kontrollierte Schwenken und Neigen der montierten Optik beim Absuchen des Geländes oder beim Verfolgen bewegter Beobachtungsziele. Der Arm kann in zwei verschiedenen Positionen am Adapter montiert und so an die bevorzugte Bedienung angepasst werden.Die Verbindung zum Spartan Stativsystem erfolgt über die integrierte Spartan-Schnittstelle. Der Adapter ist sowohl mit MagnaSwitch™ als auch mit Disc-Lok™ kompatibel. Bei Verwendung mit MagnaSwitch™ führt der Magnet den Adapter in die Aufnahme, anschließend wird die Verbindung über den Sicherungshebel verriegelt.
