Laut Barnes wurde diese Kombination auf zuverlässige Präzision in dichtem Bewuchs und eine schnelle Expansion im Wildkörper ausgelegt.Die Rundkopf-Konstruktion unterscheidet diese BWB-Laborierung bewusst von aerodynamisch optimierten Long-Range-Geschossen.
