The Barnes Harvest Collection in caliber .450 Bushmaster is a load specifically tailored for hunting with powerful straight-wall cartridges. Barnes combines its own manufacturing and loading standards with the proven Sierra Pro-Hunter bullet and explicitly assigns the cartridge to hunting use on medium-sized, thin-skinned game. The 16.8 g / 260 gr Sierra Pro-Hunter FN is used. The classic jacketed bullet with lead core was specially developed by Sierra for the .450 Bushmaster. Its flat bullet tip supports intensive energy transfer on target, while the design is aimed at reliable expansion and deep penetration. At the same time, special emphasis was placed on reliable feeding in firearms of this caliber during development. With a bullet diameter of approx. 11.47 mm / .4515" and a ballistic coefficient G1 of 0.164, this load is clearly designed for effective hunting distances and not for long-range applications.
