Horizon Firearms Venatic Riff – 13-inch short-barreled rifle The Horizon Firearms Venatic Riff is an especially compact bolt-action rifle with a 13″ barrel, significantly shorter than those on other Horizon models. The short barrel is easier to carry and quicker to bring to the shoulder, a clear advantage for driven hunts and tracking wounded game. It also offsets the length of a mounted suppressor, so the rifle doesn’t become unwieldy with the suppressor attached. The short barrel and skeletonized Stiller Wombat action keep the overall weight low; the Riff weighs just around 2.87 kg. The premium steel barrel features Rattler fluting in Horizon’s contour and comes in Storm, a cool gray tone. The iota EKO carbon stock features Horizon’s Carbon-Flash finish, with gray tones, visible carbon fiber, and yellow accents. Der kurze Lauf lässt sich leichter tragen und schneller in Anschlag bringen, ein klarer Vorteil bei Drückjagd und Nachsuche. Er gleicht zusätzlich die Länge eines montierten Schalldämpfers aus, sodass die Waffe mit Dämpfer nicht unhandlich lang wird. Der kurze Lauf und die skelettierte Stiller-Wombat-System-Bauweise halten das Gesamtgewicht niedrig, insgesamt wiegt die Riff nur rund 2,87 kg. Der Premium-Stahllauf trägt eine Rattler-Fluting in Horizon-Kontur und ist in Storm gehalten, einem kühlen Grauton.
