To turn case necks in a precision-enhancing manner, meaning evenly, there are only two methods: a super-precise lathe or a hand-held neck turner. The latter are far preferred.

The delivery includes the completely depicted device, but without Lee Hülsenhalter and Führungsdorn. The cases are clamped in the holder located above the handle and then either turned by hand or, after removing the handle, with a cordless screwdriver. The guiding mandrel is gently inserted into the case mouth, and the cutting edge removes material from the outside of the case neck. The cutting depth can be adjusted via the side screw (see enlarged excerpt with the designation top view). The adjustment is very precise, as 440 revolutions correspond to a distance of 25.4 mm. With a turn of the screw from one point to the next, the cutter moves a distance of 5/1000 millimeter. This makes the adjustment very easy.

Sonstiges:Im Laufe der Zeit hat sich folgendes herauskristallisiert:
Um Hülsenhälse präzisionsfördernd, sprich gleichmäßig, abzudrehen, gibt es nur zwei Methoden: eine superpräzise Drehbank oder ein handgehaltener Hülsenhalsabdreher. Letztere werden bei weitem bevorzugt.

Zum Lieferumfang gehört das komplett abgebildete Gerät, jedoch ohne Lee Hülsenhalter und Führungsdorn. Die Hülsen werden in den oberhalb des Handgriffes befindlichen Halter eingeklemmt und dann entweder mit der Hand oder nach Entfernen des Handgriffes mit einem Akkuschrauber gedreht. Der Führungsdorn wird sachte in den Hülsenmund eingeführt, und die Schneidkante entfernt außen am Hülsenhals das Material. Die Schneidtiefe kann über die seitliche Schraube (siehe vergrößerten Ausschnitt mit der Bez. Draufsicht) eingestellt werden. Die Einstellung ist sehr präzise, da 440 Umdrehungen einem Weg von 25,4 mm entsprechen. Bei einer Drehung der Schraube von einem Punkt zum nächsten macht der Schneider einen Weg von 5/1000 Millimeter. Die Einstellung wird damit sehr erleichtert.
