Merkel 200E over-and-under shotgun color case hardened with fine arabesques. Classic hunting over-and-under shotgun crafted in the traditional Suhl style. As new condition, barrels mirror bright. Elegant hunting shotgun with color case hardened steel action hand-engraved with small fine arabesques. Small engravings also on other system and component parts. Barrel bundle, locking lever, safety slide, and trigger guard black blued. All waves and screws engraved as rosettes. 71 cm hard chrome barrels with 7 mm wide rib against glare with wave cut, brass bead front sight, ejectors, and simple barrel hooks. Steel action with side signal sights, robust Kersten lock, double trigger with front trigger as a joint trigger, safety slide on the stock neck, walnut stock with German cheek piece, pistol grip with cap in horn look and 2 cm stock pad made of slip-resistant hard rubber. Split forend. Pistol grip and forend with fine, hand-cut checkering. Marking/stamp: GEBR. MERKEL SUHL MADE IN GERMANY. Buttstock with small scratches, otherwise well-maintained very good condition. Laufbündel, Verschlusshebel, Sicherungsschieber und Abzugsbügel schwarz brüniert. Alle Wellen und Schrauben als Rosetten graviert. 71 cm hartverchromte Läufe mit 7 mm breiter Schiene gegen Spiegelung mit Wellenschliff, Messingperlkorn, Ejektoren und einfachen Laufhaken. Stahlbasküle mit seitlichen Signalsiften, robusten Kerstenverschluss, Doppelabzug vorderer Abzug als Gelenkabzug, Sicherungsschieber auf dem Kolbenhals, Nussbaumschaft mit Deutscher Backe, Pistolengriff mit Käppchen in Hornoptik und 2 cm Schaftkappe aus gleitfähigen Hartgummi.
