The Böker 98k‑Damast is an extraordinary collector's knife that impressively combines historical significance with modern craftsmanship. For this exclusive model, Böker processes genuine barrel steel from the legendary Karabiner 98k, whose technical precision and robustness made it one of the most well-known weapons of its time. The forged Damascus blade consists of 80 layers and is handcrafted in the characteristic ripple pattern by Chad Nichols. Each blade is unique with distinctive grain, pronounced false edge, and classic nail nick, while a sturdy backlock mechanism ensures reliable safety.

The design of the knife also consciously references elements of the historical 98k bayonet. The handle scales made of domestic walnut wood adopt the diagonal structure of the original while providing excellent grip. Beneath the steel bolster, there is another authentic detail: the lateral cross notch, which was once used for cleaning the cleaning rod socket. This combination of historical references and modern precision makes the 98k‑Damast a knife with a distinctive character.

Each piece is manufactured in the Böker factory in Solingen – in true handcrafted quality and with the highest standards. The knife is delivered in an elegant floating display, including a certificate of authenticity and an individual serial number. The Böker 98k‑Damast is therefore not only a functional tool but also an exclusive collector's item for lovers of high-quality knives and historical technology.
