The effectiveness of this target is undoubtedly its ability to display the hit with effect and unmistakably. As a splatter target, the shot is indicated by color accents, allowing you to recognize the hit pattern even from a greater distance. The hit zone is highlighted in color on and behind the sheet and marked with an orange hit image, while other hits are displayed in white. For zeroing the weapon, there is a normal target on the sturdy cardboard below the "pig," so you don't have to shoot at the wild boar right away. And what advantage does that have?
It serves as a good tool for training your skills compared to regular paper targets, where it is not always clear where the hit is located.

Wildscheiben für das Schießen finden sich fast überall, vor allem wenn es um das jagdliche Schießen geht. Ferkinghoff International bietet fotorealistische Scheiben von Birchwood Casey an, die sich von den vielfach verwendeten gezeichneten Zielen abheben.
Die Effizienz dieser Scheibe dürfte aber wohl ganz ohne Zweifel deren Eigenschaft, den Treffer mit Effekt und unübersehbar anzuzeigen. Als Splatter-Target wird der Schuss durch farbliche Akzente angezeigt, so dass man auch aus größerer Entfernung das Trefferbild erkennen kann. Dabei wird die Trefferzone auf und hinter dem Blatt farblich hervorgehoben und mit einem orangenen Trefferbild markiert, wohingegen die anderen Treffer in Weiß dargestellt werden. Zum Einschießen der Waffe gibt es auf dem stabilen Karton noch ein normales Ziel unterhalb des „Schweines“, so dass man nicht sofort auf das Wildschwein schießen muss. Und das hat welchen Vorteil?
Zum Training der eigenen Fertigkeiten ein gutes Hilfsmittel im Vergleich zu normalen Papierscheiben, bei denen nicht immer klar ist, wo der Treffer sitzt.
