In 1980, Taurus took over the Beretta factory in São Paulo, Brazil, and immediately began to revise the Beretta design. The result is the well-known Taurus 92, highly valued by both hunters and sport shooters alike. With the current model, Taurus has made another step in development. Der aus einer Speziallegierung neu designte Rahmen, ist extrem robust und gibt dem Schlitten einen hervorragenden Halt. Ein weiteres, neues Feature ist die beidseitig am Rahmen angebrachte 3 Positionen Sicherung. Ausgestattet mit Gummi Griffschalen liegt die Waffe sehr gut in der Hand.
