-Saddle mount Picatinny (without rings, without riflescope)
The Picatinny rail was implemented as a standard by the US military in 1995 and became very popular for civilian use due to its versatility. On a Blaser R8, the Picatinny rail offers high flexibility in positioning the target optics. The rings are pushed on from the end and lock into the grooves and ridges. The rail is fixed to the barrel with the proven saddle mount technology with repeat accuracy.
