Das ursprüngliche Trapper-Messer verdankt seinen Namen den Fallenstellern, die die Wälder Nordamerikas durchstreiften. Diese Messerbauform, die bis ins 19. Jahrhundert zurückreicht, zeichnet sich durch seine schlanke Linienführung und die charakteristischen Ober- und Unterbacken am Griff aus. Das Böker Plus Modern Trapper Uno verzichtet auf die hintere Griffbacke und setzt stattdessen auf eine titanbeschichtete Vorderbacke mit Griffschalen aus grauem Micarta, das angenehm in der Hand liegt.
Die kugelgelagerte Droppoint-Klinge aus Nitro-V Stahl wird durch einen Flipper geöffnet und durch einen Linerlock sicher verriegelt.
