The Browning X-Bolt 2 in the Alpen Vari-Tech Moter configuration defies the harshest hunting conditions.
Browning has once again outdone itself with the 2nd generation of the X-Bolt series. The bolt-action rifle impresses from the first shot with its ergonomics, precision, and reliability. The Alpen Vari-Tech Moter version stands out with the combination of a Cerakote coating on all metal parts and a robust composite stock. This makes harsh hunting conditions a non-issue.
The Stock The stock of the Alpen Vari-Tech Moter version is made from composite material and can be individually adjusted to the physique of the shooter. With the included spacers, the stock can be extended from 327 mm to up to 373 mm without losing its well-proportioned appearance. The stock features an effective Mossy Oak Terra DNA camouflage. The black Inflex recoil pad is 32 mm thick and noticeably dampens recoil, even with large calibers. The black cheek piece is adjustable in height. The also black grip surfaces have pleasantly textured rubber inserts, and contours ensure secure handling on the fore-end.
The System The system of the X-Bolt 2 is precisely and securely bedded in resin at 2 points in the stock. The fluted bolt glides smoothly in its housing. The rifle features a DLX trigger, whose pull weight can be adjusted from 800 g to 1,300 g. The releases are short and crisp, ensuring a precise shot. With the push of a button, you can open the bolt without touching the safety. All metal surfaces are coated with a Cerakote finish.
The Barrel The barrel of the X-Bolt 2, depending on caliber, is 56 cm (6.5mm Creedmoor and .308 Win) or 63 cm (.300 Win Mag) long, fluted, and coated with Cerakote. The fluting dissipates heat better during rapid fire sequences, preventing disturbing mirage. It also contributes to weight reduction. The barrel has enough clearance from the fore-end to be able to oscillate freely.

Der Schaft Die Schäftung der Alpen Vari-Tech Moter-Version besteht aus Composite-Material und kann individuell an die Physis der Schützin oder des Schützen angepasst werden. Mit den im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Zwischenlagen kann der Schaft von 327 mm auf bis zu 373 mm verlängert werden, ohne sein wohlproportioniertes Aussehen zu verlieren. Die Schäftung ist in einer wirkungsvollen Mossy Oak Terra DNA-Tarnung gehalten. Die schwarz abgesetzte Inflex-Schaftkappe ist 32 mm dick und dämpft den Rückstoß spürbar, selbst bei großen Kalibern. Die schwarze Schaftbacke ist höhenverstellbar. Die ebenfalls schwarz abgesetzten Griffflächen haben haptisch angenehme Gummieinlagen, Überformungen sorgen am Vorderschaft für sicheres Handling.

Die Büchse verfügt über einen DLX-Abzug, dessen Abzugsgewicht sich von 800 g bis 1.300 g einstellen lässt. Die Auslösungen sind kurz und trocken, was einen präzisen Schuss gewährleistet. Per Knopfdruck können Sie den Verschluss öffnen, ohne an die Sicherung zu kommen. Alle Metalloberflächen sind mit einer Cerakote-Beschichtung versehen.
Der Lauf Der je nach Kaliber 56 cm (6,5mmCreedmoor und .308Win) oder 63 cm (.300WinMag) lange Lauf der X-Bolt 2 ist kanneliert und mit einer Cerakote-Beschichtung versehen. Der Lauf hat genügend Abstand zum Vorderschaft, um frei schwingen zu können.
