offered here is an interesting Smith & Wesson revolver, namely the Mod. Military & Police in caliber .38 S & W. The weapon is marked with many English acceptance and proof stamps and was likely in use by the local police. The difference between this weapon and a conventional Victory revolver lies, among other things, in the relatively shiny finish, as can be somewhat clearly seen in the pictures. There is a small piece broken off at the upper area of the right grip panel. The English proof is also valid in Germany!

angeboten wird hier ein interessanter Smith & Wesson Revolver und zwar das Mod. Military & Police im Kaliber .38 S & W. Die Waffe ist mit vielen englischen Abnahme bzw. Beschuss Stempeln versehen und war wohl im Einsatz bei der dortigen Polzei. Der Unterschied dieser Waffe zu einem herkömmlichen Victory Revolver besteht u.a. in dem relativ glänzendem Finish, wie man es auf den Bildern einigermaßen gut erkennen kann. An der rechten Griffschale ist im oberen Bereich ein kleines Stück ausgebrochen. Der englische Beschuss hat übrigens auch in Deutschland seine Gültigkeit!
