offered here is an interesting Smith & Wesson revolver, namely the Mod. Military & Police in caliber .38 S & W. The weapon is marked with many English acceptance and proof stamps and was likely in use by the local police. The difference between this weapon and a conventional Victory revolver lies, among other things, in the relatively shiny finish, as can be somewhat clearly seen in the pictures. There is a small piece broken off at the upper area of the right grip panel. The English proof is also valid in Germany!
