Bei dem Geschoss handelt es sich um ein hochinnovatives Mantelgeschoss mit zwei Zinnkernen. Durch die Hohlspitzkonstruktion zerlegt sich der vorfragmentierte vordere Kern sofort beim Auftreffen auf den Wildkörper und setzt einen Großteil der Energie frei, so wird das Stück schnell an den Platz gebannt.
