The gunsmiths at Blaser have named this special model of the R8 Ultimate – as with the Silverstone – after a famous racetrack: the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. The fast firing sequence due to the straight pull, the precision and reliability of the rifle, and the sporty-elegant design justify the choice of this namesake. And with this complete package, you also receive a riflescope from one of the major optics brands along with the respective original Blaser mounting rail.
The Stock
The black synthetic hole stock is eye-catching with its red leather inlays and the R8 logo in the same color. But the stock is not only beautiful, it is also tactile and ergonomically pleasant. The pistol grip with the grip hole keeps the shooting hand in a relaxed position at all times. The leather butt plate is optionally height-adjustable to allow for an even more individual fit to the physique of the shooters. The stock cap noticeably compensates for the felt recoil.
The System
The hand tensioning system of the R8 Ultimate Monza guarantees maximum safety by relaxing the firing pin spring. The tension is only applied immediately before the shot by pushing the tension slider forward. The quickly reloadable straight pull bolt system is made of duralumin and is matte black anodized. The direct trigger of the R8 Ultimate Monza rifle is dry and ensures a precise shot release without jerking. The trigger, chamber grip ball, and chamber are coated with the extremely hard DLC coating (Diamond Like Carbon). This reduces friction loss to a minimum. The bolt is available in three caliber groups: Mini, Standard, and Magnum.
The Barrels
The Blaser R8 barrels are available in barrel lengths of 47 cm, 52 cm, and 58 cm depending on the caliber, and they have an M15x1 barrel thread. The Blaser R8 barrels are cold forged, like the chamber, making them perfectly concentric. The barrel surface is plasma nitrided and blued. The Blaser barrels are characterized by high precision and durability.
The ScopeWith this complete package, you have the choice between riflescopes with various zoom factors, objective diameters, and reticles from the following models:
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2.5-15x56 M, reticle 60: The light transmission of 92% speaks for itself; with the 56 mm objective, it is suitable for hunting into the night.
- Zeiss Victory HT 3-12x56, reticle 60: The Victory impresses with a light transmission of 95%, and the 56 mm objective is ideal for difficult lighting conditions.
- Blaser 2.8-20x50iC with rail: The 20x magnification, the light-intensive 50 mm objective, and the compact design make the riflescope versatile. It has a Hunt Pro reticle.
- Blaser 4-20x58iC with rail: This riflescope performs well in the stand until the last light and in the most difficult lighting conditions. It has a Hunt Pro reticle.
- Leica Magnus 1.8-12x50i with rail: The compact dimensions and the 50 mm objective ensure maximum flexibility. The riflescope has an L-4a reticle.
- Leica Magnus 2.4-16x56i with rail: This riflescope offers more light due to its low vignetting at low magnifications. It features an L-4a reticle.
- Swarovski Z6i 2-12x50 SR: The all-round riflescope is a reliable twilight optic that can be used in any terrain and for any type of hunting. It has a 4A-I reticle.
- Swarovski Z8i 2-16x50 P SR: The riflescope combines brilliant optics with an 8x zoom in a compact 30 mm central tube. It features an A4-I reticle.
- Swarovski Z8i 2.3-18x56 P SR: This illuminated riflescope, with its high transmission value, is ideal for shots at greater distances with its 18x magnification. It has a 4A-I reticle.
The original Blaser saddle mount required for installation is included in the offer. This makes the fixed, play-free, and repeatable mounting of the optics on the designated cutouts of the hunting rifle incredibly simple.

Der SchaftDer schwarze Synthetik-Lochschaft ist mit seinen rot angenähten Ledereinlagen und dem R8-Logo in gleicher Farbe ein Blickfänger. Aber der Schaft ist nicht nur schön, sondern auch haptisch und ergonomisch angenehm. Der Pistolengriff mit dem Griffloch lässt die Schusshand stets im entspannten Zustand. Der Leder-Schaftrücken ist optional höhenverstellbar, um eine noch individuellere Anpassung an die Physis der Schützinnen und Schützen zu ermöglichen. Die Schaftkappe kompensiert den gefühlten Rückstoß merklich.
Das SystemDas Handspannsystem der R8 Ultimate Monza garantiert höchste Sicherheit mittels Entspannung der Schlagfeder. Die Spannung erfolgt erst unmittelbar vor dem Schuss durch das Vorschieben des Spannschiebers. Das schnell nachladbare Geradezug-Repetiersystem ist aus Dural gefertigt und mattschwarz eloxiert. Der Direktabzug der R8-Ultimate-Monza Büchse steht trocken und gewährleistet eine präzise Schussabgabe ohne Verreißen. Der Abzug, die Kammergriffkugel und die Kammer sind mit der extrem harten und DLC-Beschichtung (Diamond Like Carbon) versehen. Diese reduziert den Reibungsverlust auf ein Minimum. Den Verschluss gibt es in den drei Kaliber-Gruppen Mini, Standard und Magnum.
