And this is how the "W 2" works:
With the self-shooting Mod. W2, the mouse is not killed by a mechanical strike like with conventional traps, but by the high gas pressure of a special cartridge, which instantly tears the lung of the Wühlmaus and thus kills it immediately and humanely.
The loaded device is placed with the muzzle in the exposed mouse tunnel, cocked, and deactivated. After a short time, the Wühlmaus will try to close the tunnel again, as it does not like light or fresh air. The Wühlmaus can calmly push soil in front of the self-shooting device, which often leads to failure with conventional traps. However, this does not matter with the "W 2". The high gas pressure of the cartridge caliber 9 x 17 kills the Wühlmaus even through 5 cm of pushed soil instantly and often throws it back up to 30 cm in the tunnel.

Safety basket:
This basket is simply placed over the set-up Wühlmausselbstschuss. It protects dogs, cats, and other pets from accidents. The basket is made of sturdy welded mesh and has 4 ground spikes to prevent it from being knocked over. Size 18 x 21 x 21 cm. Pets cannot access the Wühlmausselbstschuss unprotected and injure themselves. The mesh also allows for immediate recognition of whether the self-shooting device has been triggered.

Und so funktioniert der »W 2«:
Beim Selbstschuss Mod. W2 wird die Maus nicht durch einen mechanischen Schlag wie bei herkömmlichen Fallen getötet, sondern durch den hohen Gasdruck einer Spezialpatrone, welcher der Wühlmaus blitzartig die Lunge zerreißt und sie somit sofort und tierschutzgerecht tötet.
Das geladene Gerät wird mit der Mündung in den freigelegten Mäusegang gestellt, gespannt und entsichert. Bereits nach kurzer Zeit wird die Wühlmaus versuchen, den Gang wieder zu schließen, da diese weder Licht noch Frischluft mag. Die Wühlmaus kann dabei ruhig Erde vor den Selbstschuss schieben, was bei herkömmlichen Fallen häufig zum Misserfolg führt. Beim „W 2“ spielt dies jedoch keine Rolle. Der hohe Gasdruck der Patrone Kal. 9 x 17 tötet die Wühlmaus auch durch 5 cm vorgeschobene Erde blitzartig und schleudert diese oft bis zu 30 cm im Gang zurück.
Eine ausführliche Gebrauchsanweisung liegt jedem Gerät bei.
Sicherheitskorb:
Dieser Korb wird einfach über den aufgestellten Wühlmausselbstschuss gesteckt. Er schützt Hunde, Katzen und andere Haustiere vor Unfällen. Der Korb ist aus stabilem Schweißgitter gefertigt und hat 4 Erdspieße, damit er nicht umgeworfen werden kann. Größe 18 x 21 x 21 cm. Haustiere können so nicht ungeschützt an den Wühlmausselbstschuss gelangen und sich verletzen. Durch das Gitter kann auch sofort erkannt werden, ob der Selbstschuss ausgelöst wurde.
