The synthetic stock of the straight-pull repeater Blaser R8 Professional Success is designed for the toughest use under the most adverse conditions. The robust, one-piece stock with black elastomer grip inserts on the pistol grip and forend is very grippy even in wet and cold conditions. The Success stock design is ergonomically perfect and helps the shooter achieve a better hold – whether lying down, offhand, or supported. The completely relaxed position of the shooting hand and arm results in an immediate increase in the shooter's accuracy, and shooter errors such as the annoying "flinching" are nearly completely eliminated. The specially developed butt plate for the R8 Professional offers excellent recoil reduction and great gliding properties.
The Blaser straight-pull repeater system allows for lightning-fast shot sequences while maintaining a relaxed body position, without having to put the weapon down. This keeps the shooter's eye and the barrel of the weapon continuously on target. The time gained in target acquisition leads to a more secure shot release. The manual safety system is considered one of the best safety systems available. No other mechanical safety can provide the security of a relaxed firing pin spring. The R8 is deliberately cocked just before the shot by pushing the cocking slider forward.
To relax the system, a light pressure on the cocking slider is sufficient, and it glides back. At the same time, the weapon cannot be unintentionally opened, as the chamber handle is blocked when the bolt is relaxed and locked. If the magazine including the trigger unit is not in the weapon, the R8 cannot be cocked and is thus secure from unauthorized use.
The magazine change is quick and easy with a short press on the two release buttons, which are ideally located above the trigger. The magazine buttons can be locked, preventing unintentional removal of the magazine reliably.
The excellent trigger characteristics of the Blaser direct trigger with only 700 g trigger weight are the perfect prerequisite for a precise shot without unnecessary delay. The radial locking mechanism of the R8 locks directly in the barrel, ensuring stability and reliable shot performance.
The Blaser R8 barrels and chambers are cold forged and thus perfectly concentric. They are characterized by high precision and durability. The barrel of this Blaser R8 model has a DLC coating (Diamond Like Carbon). This type of coating, which uses carbon that has the hardness of a diamond, is very environmentally friendly and biocompatible compared to galvanic coatings. Through a thin-film coating process, the coated barrels are particularly resistant to mechanical damage and corrosion and are very smooth. The ball barrels included in this offer were manufactured in the standard barrel contour of 17 mm at the muzzle and smooth barrel profile in barrel lengths of 52 cm. The barrels offered here are without sights and all have a barrel thread of M15x1.

Blaser B2 2-12x50 iC 5 with rail: With a total length up to four centimeters shorter than comparable scopes, the Blaser B2 scopes are extremely compact. In hunting, this short design ensures that an attachment device can be comfortably operated in the hold and that the center of gravity of the weapon is not unnecessarily shifted forward. Another advantage of the short length is the short travel distances of the moving lenses of the zoom system, resulting in better mechanical precision and more stable point of impact when changing magnification. At the same time, the mechanical robustness compensates for the additional stress on the scope when shooting with an attachment device.

Der Synthetik-Lochschaft des Geradezug-Repetieres Blaser R8 Professional Success ist für den härtesten Einsatz unter widrigsten Bedingungen geschaffen. Der robuste, einteilige Lochschaft mit schwarzen Elastomer-Griffeinlagen an Pistolengriff und Vorderschaft ist auch bei Nässe und Kälte sehr griffig. Die Success-Lochschäftung ist ergonomisch perfekt ausgestaltet und verhilft dem Schützen zu einem besseren Anschlag – egal ob liegend, freihändig oder aufgelegt. Die völlig entspannte Haltung von Schießhand und Arm bewirkt, dass sich die Treffsicherheit des Schützen auf Anhieb erhöht, Schützenfehler wie das leidige „Mucken“ werden nahezu völlig unterbunden. Die extra für die R8 Professional entwickelte Schaftkappe hat eine hervorragende Rückstoßminderung und großartige Gleiteigenschaften.
Das Blaser Geradezug-Repetiersystem ermöglicht blitzschnelle Schussfolgen bei entspannter Körperhaltung, ohne die Waffe abzusetzen. So bleiben das Auge des Schützen und der Lauf der Waffe kontinuierlich auf das Ziel gerichtet. Der Zeitgewinn bei der Zielaufnahme führt zu einer sichereren Schussabgabe. Das Handspann-Sicherungssystem gilt als eines der besten Sicherungssysteme. Keine andere mechanische Sicherung kann die Sicherheit einer entspannten Schlagfeder bieten. Die R8 wird bewusst und erst unmittelbar vor dem Schuss gespannt, indem der Spannschieber nach vorne geschoben wird.
Um das System zu entspannen, genügt ein leichter Druck auf den Spannschieber und er gleitet zurück. Gleichzeitig kann die Waffe nicht unbeabsichtigt geöffnet werden, da der Kammergriff bei entspanntem und verriegeltem Verschluss blockiert. Befindet sich das Magazin inklusive Abzugseinheit nicht in der Waffe, kann die R8 nicht gespannt werden und ist somit vor unbefugtem Gebrauch sicher.
Der Magazinwechsel erfolgt schnell und einfach durch kurzen Druck auf die beiden Entriegelungstasten, die sich ideal angeordnet über dem Abzug befinden. Die Magazintasten lassen sich sperren, sodass eine unbeabsichtigte Entnahme des Magazins zuverlässig verhindert wird.
Die exzellente Abzugscharakteristik des Blaser Direktabzugs mit lediglich 700 g Abzugsgewicht ist die perfekte Voraussetzung für den präzisen Schuss ohne unnötigen Zeitverzug. Der Radialbundverschluss der R8 verriegelt direkt im Lauf, sorgt somit für Stabilität und eine verlässliche Schussleistung.
Die Blaser R8-Läufe und -Patronenlager werden kalt geschmiedet und sind damit perfekt konzentrisch. Sie zeichnen sich durch hohe Präzision und Langlebigkeit aus. Der Lauf dieses Blaser R8-Modells hat eine DLC-Beschichtung (Diamond Like Carbon). Diese Beschichtungsart, bei denen ein Kohlenstoff verwendet wird, der die Härte eines Diamanten hat, ist im Gegensatz zu galvanischen Beschichtungen sehr umweltschonend und bioverträglich. Durch ein Dünnfilmbeschichtungsverfahren werden die beschichteten Läufe besonders widerstandsfähig gegen mechanische Beschädigung und Korrosion sowie sehr glatt. Die in diesem Angebot enthaltenen Kugelläufe wurden in der Standard-Laufkontur von 17 mm an der Mündung und glattem Laufprofil in den Lauflängen 52 cm gefertigt. Die hier angebotenen Läufe sind ohne Visierung und alle mit einem Laufgewinde von M15x1 versehen.
