The Hornady Case Activated Powder Drop is a precise, robust accessory for the Hornady Lock-N-Load system series. It is designed to ensure a comfortable, yet more consistent powder feed into the cases while reloading — automatically, when the case is positioned under the funnel. The Case Activated Powder Drop from Hornady provides every reloader working with a multi-station press an extremely useful add-on that makes manual filling unnecessary. In conjunction with a Hornady powder measure and a powder check die, the pre-set powder amount is automatically dispensed on a multi-station press. This is achieved through a sliding mechanism in the powder check die, which in turn activates the case-activated powder drop linkage and thus the filling of the powder amount into the case. The fall-based activation reduces spillage and minimizes risk and cleaning effort. The result is reproducible fill amounts, faster operation at the press, and a cleaner workbench.
