The original MKI case is longer, but this can be used as a short alternative. It is important to note that the designations of the Webley cartridges do not necessarily match the model revolver, and smokeless powder loads may not be safe in all revolvers.

* It is important to note that many Webley revolvers in the USA have been modified to use the significantly thicker rimmed .45 Auto Rim cartridge by altering the cylinder to accommodate the thicker rims.
