Starline cases .44 Colt 1000 pieces The .41 Short Colt is essentially similar to the .44 Special, but is 0.050 inches shorter and has a smaller rim diameter that corresponds to that of the .41 Magnum. It was originally used in the Colt 1860 revolvers with cartridge conversion. To reload this cartridge, you can use the RCBS #30 shell holder (which may require slight adjustment to clear the extractor groove area) or the #21 shell holder or the Lee #3 shell holder. These shell holders are used to securely hold the cartridge case during the reloading process.
