Sierra Bullet .22/.224 HV 77GR Match TMK 100 pieces
Sierra has enhanced part of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thereby introducing the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The main advantage of the tip on the bullet is the reduction of air resistance, resulting in a more favorable ballistic coefficient. Another advantage is the reliable feeding in magazine-fed firearms. The 77 Grain Tipped MatchKing (TMK) allows for an overall length (OAL) that enables loading cartridges into M16/AR15 magazines.
Although they are known worldwide for their record-breaking precision, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. While MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are often used for small game hunting, their design does not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in small game compared to their lightly coated Hornet, Blitz, or Varminter counterparts.
The #7177 was introduced in January 2015.
A twist rate of 1×8” or faster is required for this bullet.
