How does Hoppe's Bore Snake cleaning cord work?
Hoppe's Boresnake combines three cleaning functions in one pass.
First, the end weighted with a small brass weight is threaded through the barrel, allowing the cleaning cord to be easily pulled through, done!
The first part of the cord immediately removes large residues. The second part is a high-quality bronze wire brush that loosens stubborn residues. In the last section of the Bore-Snake cleaning cord, the loosened residues are thoroughly cleared out. After just one or two passes, the barrel is thoroughly cleaned. Hoppe's No. 9 Solvent or Hoppe's Oil can be applied to the BoreSnake for oiling the barrel during cleaning. The Boresnake cleaning cord is washable (hand wash or in a laundry bag in the washing machine) and thus reusable after heavy soiling.

Wie funktioniert Hoppe's Bore Snake Putzschnur?
Hoppe's Boresnake vereinigt drei Reinigungsfunktionen in einem Putzgang.
Als erstes wird das mit einem kleinen Messinggewicht beschwerte Ende duch den Lauf gefädelt um dann die Reinigungsschnur einfach hindurch zu ziehen, fertig!
Der erste Teil der Schnur trägt dabei die großen Rückstände sofort ab. Der zweite Teil ist eine hochwertige Bronzedrahtbürste die festsitzende Rückstände löst. Im letzten Abschnitt der Bore-Snake Putzschnur werden die gelösten Rückstände gründlich ausgeräumt. Schon nach ein bis zwei Durchgängen ist der Lauf gründlich gereinigt. Hoppes Nr. 9 Solvent oder Hoppes Öl können schon während des Reinigens zum Ölen des Laufes auf die BoreSnake aufgebracht werden. Die Boresnake Putzschnur ist waschbar (Handwäsche oder im Wäschesack auch in der Waschmaschine) und somit nach starker Verschmutzung immer wieder verwendbar.
