Particularly non-disassemblable or carbon-made silencers are difficult to clean. Delicate lamellas and rows of holes increase the silencer performance but complicate the cleaning process. With the BALLISTOL silencer cleaner, this is visibly simple. The silencer is sealed from one side with a conical rubber plug. From the other side, the silencer is completely filled with the pure cleaner. The exposure time should be 4-8 hours.
With high shot counts (300-500), an extension of the exposure time is necessary. Heating the silencer and the liquid before use to about 45°C accelerates the exposure time and increases the cleaning performance. After the exposure time, pour out the cleaner and fill the silencer halfway with clear water. Now the silencer should be sealed from both sides. Then shake vigorously. After that, pour out the water and repeat this process as often as necessary until no solid particles are flushed out of the silencer.
The cleaner can also be used in an ultrasonic bath. Common materials are not attacked. We recommend testing compatibility on surfaces in an inconspicuous area.

Insbesondere nicht zerlegbare oder aus Carbon gefertigte Schalldämpfer sind schwierig zu reinigen. Filigrane Lamellen und Lochreihen erhöhen die Dämpferleistung, erschweren jedoch die Reinigung. Mit dem BALLISTOL Schalldämpferreiniger ist diese sichtlich einfach. Der Schalldämpfer wird von einer Seite mit einem konischen Stopfen aus Gummi verschlossen. Von der anderen Seite wird der Dämpfer vollständig mit dem puren Reiniger aufgefüllt. Die Einwirkzeit sollte 4-8 Stunden betragen.
Bei hohen Schusszahlen (300-500) ist eine Verlängerung der Einwirkzeit nötig. Die Erwärmung des Dämpfers und der Flüssigkeit vor Gebrauch auf ca. 45°C beschleunigt die Einwirkzeit und erhöht die Reinigungsleistung. Nach der Einwirkzeit den Reiniger abgießen und den Dämpfer zur Hälfte mit klarem Wasser auffüllen. Nun ist der Dämpfer von beiden Seiten zu verschließen. Danach kräftig schütteln. Anschließend das Wasser ausgießen und diesen Vorgang so häufig wiederholen bis keine Festpartikel mehr aus dem Dämpfer gespült werden.
Der Reiniger kann auch in einem Ultraschallbad verwendet werden. Gängige Materialien werden nicht angegriffen. Wir empfehlen, die Verträglichkeit auf Oberflächen an einer verdeckten Stelle zu testen.
